Meet Our Artists
Cordero Collective Tattoos is an all female crew, with three, queer female tattoo artists each passionate about the work they do and our shop’s role in our community. Jessica is our fine line specialist, Jenn tattoos in all styles, and Alecia is our Beginner Artist with a focus on lifework, American Traditional, and illustrative tattooing.
Jessica Cordero-Sheppard
Jessica is the co-owner and founder of Cordero Collective as well as our resident Fine Line Specialist. She began tattooing in 2022 and her passion and skillset has only bloomed since. Jessica has always been drawn to all things creative, and loves the blend of artistic expression and human connection that tattooing provides. She’s an avid reader, active community member who believes strongly in the power of togetherness and community care, and hostess extraordinaire who is responsible for throwing the many parties and events at Cordero Collective. With an eye for detail, a light hand, and a commitment to providing you the tattoo of your dreams, if you’re looking for your new fine line tattoo artist, Jessica is the perfect fit for you.
Jenn Cordero-Sheppard
Jenn is the co-owner and founder of Cordero Collective, alongside her wife Jessica, and as an artist is a jack of all trades. There isn’t a style of tattooing or artistry that she doesn’t enjoy, but portraits and photo-realism are what she has the most fun with. She’s been tattooing for over 19 years, and creating art since she could hold a pencil. She loves to expand her mind by hearing the stories of others, which makes her an excellent ear to her tattoo clients as well as an avid story based gamer and reader. When choosing Jenn as your tattoo artist, you’ll rest assured that she can take your vision and bring it to life with her keen attention to detail and vivid imagination.
Alecia Burgess
Alecia Burgess is the newest addition to Cordero Collective. Alecia joined us in August 2024 and is excited to be taking clients of her own. She has loved drawing and art for as long as she can remember, from tracing book covers at the local library with her grandmother, to illustrating graphics for local businesses into her mid-twenties. Alecia loves gardening, thrifting, and trying craft beer with her soon-to-be wife. She’s so excited to continue learning from Jess and Jenn, and making art for the beautiful community they have created. Boasting an eagerness to continue to grow, learn, and expand her knowledge, when booking an appointment with Alecia, you can expect professionalism, artistry and a quality tattoo.
